Our Staff

We are very grateful to have a group of dedicated staff that have worked at the preschool for some years. All of the staff are mums of older children so have had a lot of experience with children of all ages.



Our newly appointed leader is Gill Barrett who started work at the preschool as a parent helper and decided to stay on and help out where required. Over the years she has gained a lot of experience and has recently qualified with her QCF level 3 in Children and young Peoples Workforce. Gill has a girl and a boy who attend George Fentham Primary School.



Mandy Walker is our deputy on Monday and Wednesdays, has worked at the preschool for three years and has trained as a nanny with her NNEB status. Mandy has three boys, two of which attend the local primary school.



Sarah Mayers is our deputy on Tuesdays and Fridays and is our full-time SENCO officer. Sarah has been working at the preschool for 4 years and has also acquired her NVQ CCLD whilst working at the preschool. Sarah has one son who attends another local school.



Janet Meagher has joined us this year and comes highly qualified and has managed and run a nursery in the not to distant past. Janet has one boy and one girl at George Fentham Primary School.

We also have a rota for cover that help us out where necessary.
